Personal Entrepreneurial Competencies

After examining myself I discovered a lot of interesting facts regarding my attitudes and habits. I excelled in terms of  persistence, gathering information, risk taking and setting goals. The aforementioned traits are my strongest entrepreneurial attributes. I'm quite a persistent person specially when I'm trying to accomplish things that I set my mind into even though I'm faced with plenty of difficulties I still manage to push through in order to achieve my gains and goals. Especially when I'm faced with a major problem I tend to  focus, calm myself and spend time to find a solution rather than fret and give up. I personally think that it is a waste of time spending all your energy thinking of what goes wrong instead why don't you use your energy formulating a solution for that certain problem. Another trait that I excelled in, is in the field of research. Before I do a certain project I did plenty of researches during and before the process of completing that project. In addition, I often ask other people and review various sources to ensure that what I did is correct and free from errors. In line to this trait, even though there is no one to back my thoughts and ideas I'm not allowing those set back to hinder me instead I decided to push through and proceed to do what I deemed was right action to enact at the moment even when my methods are risky and new. Most importantly, I would not be able to become productive and functioning if I don't have my goals. Establishing goals before you do something is a great on the grounds that you know what you wish to accomplish at the end and you know which path you will take. On the contrary, my weakest attributes are commitment to work contract, systematic planning/monitoring, and persuasion and networking. Maybe it is due to the fact that I'm not well-versed in communicating with new people that I encounter, which is one of the most important traits that an entrepreneur must possess. Furthermore, I tend to do things on my own due to my attitude; which is wanting to do things on my terms. I'm quite controlling person and I want to make things in accordance to my standard and expected outcome.

When it comes to doing task, everyday after I wake up I list all of the things that I need to do for the day and the expected time that I'll be able to finish them. So far I'm able to complete some of the things on my list but not all them. Although I'm persistent I'm unable to finish some of the task, such as pass my school works on time, finish all my assigned household chores, and then start doing church modules. This might be due to the fact that I have unsystematic ways of doing things; I tend start doing all of my task at once yet leaving it hanging and incomplete thereby pending the completion of the task. On the other hand, some of the task are done on time and I'm able to complete it such as revisions, review, other assignments, and note takings. All things considered I think it is necessary to change my way of doing things and improve my system. Moreover, I also suggest that setting realistic goals will increase our efficacy and motivation on doing things for we're confident that we are able to accomplish the task at the given time. Furthermore, it is beneficial if we're focusing on one task that's necessary meaning the one that has a close deadline and short period of workintime given. Lastly, evaluate your system of doing things to ensure what works best for you.
